Heartfelt Understanding
Acrylic with glitter tempera details, Heartfelt Understanding features Gilbert Wolfgang, main character of Haunts of Loarne, in a field of hydrangeas, which can convey both heartfelt feelings and understanding in the language of flowers.

New Years 2020
Adobe Illustrator. Each year I send out a card telling my friends and family how my tight-knit circle is doing at home. This year I really wanted to capture the feeling of pulling on a celebration orb like you sometimes see in big cities, without relying too much on hand-cutting.

Dandy Dragon
Autodesk Sketchbook.

Lucien Scrivener, Explosive Personality
Autodesk Sketchbook.

Ride or Die
Autodesk Sketchbook.

Welcome the New Year
Acrylic. Chris, Ophelia, and Gilbert of Haunts of Loarne.

BIGGBY COFFEE Rocks!
Adobe Illustrator. When a director approached me to create a t-shirt for what was going to be a smaller event encouraging owner/operators to open new stores, he wanted me to embrace the "Schoolhouse Rock" look and feel. The design ended up being so popular office-wide that it debuted as an Annual Franchise Meeting swag bag design! I had a lot of fun sneaking in BIGGBY-themed characters and people as much as I could.

Reminisce
Acrylic. Gilbert, Chris, Ophelia, Alice, and Aldebaranne of Haunts of Loarne.

Self Love Sticker Designs
Autodesk Sketchbook.

Love is a Moving Story
Acrylic with glitter tempera accents. Aldebaranne, Gilbert, and Chris of Haunts of Loarne.

Quetzal - Drawing Challenge
Autodesk Sketchbook. Sometimes, I do monthly challenges on Instagram where I do one themed drawing a day. This October, I couldn't choose between Birdtober and Inktober! So naturally, I did both.

Endless
Acrylic. Lucien, Gar and Phillius, characters from a past Pathfinder campaign.

Tea Characters
Adobe Illustrator. Many years ago, I designed two tea-themed characters as part of a set that was supposed to grow to include four. They range among some of the most popular show-brand material despite their age. So I decided to update and expand the line to button sets, doubling the original intended number.

Defying Limits - BIGGBY
Adobe Illustrator. I am shown here modeling the shirt I'd received, showing off the back, which was the real eyecatch. The AFM committee chair came to me asking to lean into my cartoon-character creating skills and come up with an illustration following the theme of "defying limits".

BIGGBY COFFE Test Flyer
Adobe InDesign. The director of marketing at BIGGBY asked me to test my skills as a designer by creating a test flyer with the redesigned brand and theme (note the font changes compared to your average BIGGBY coupon). I built this from the ground up, even taking photos of the smoothies from diferent angles to see what would work.

Haunts of Loarne Dream Illustration
Corel Painter. The main characters of my webcomic Haunts of Loarne are pictured here in a promotional image for the redesigned copy that I am currently working on.

Story as Identity (Character)
